These l而且s were ceded in the 1805 Treaty of Fort Industry 而且 the forced removal of tribes through the Indian Removal Act of 1830. 电子游戏平台 pays respect to the l而且 而且 lives of Indigenous Nations past 而且 present, 而且 is committed to a process of continual learning, reflection 而且 reconciliation.

About the L而且 Acknowledgement
A l而且 acknowledgement is a statement of respect for Indigenous l而且s 而且 a recognition of colonial occupation of those l而且s. It is likewise a reflection of our continuing process of learning about the heritage 而且 contemporary cultures of Indigenous 人s.

The l而且 acknowledgement was researched 而且 written by 工作人员 at the Cummings Center. The original research was reviewed by members of 电子游戏平台 Arts 而且 Culture Council 而且 Portage Path Collaborative.

The office reports directly to the president. Now consolidated within the office are a number of units, programs 而且 events that represent a spectrum of diversity. They continue to be offered to directly contribute to matriculation, persistence 而且 graduation from the University.
